Williamsburg
Soccer Club sent 8 members of its coaching staff and administrative staff
to attend the National Soccer Coaches Association of America convention
held in Kansas City, Missouri
Attending
were Richard Butler, Chris Friant, Laurie Wendell, Danny Salmon, Johnny
Kamara, Drew Polly, Steve Shaw, and Kwame Lloyd.
The
staff attended coaching sessions conducted by national and international
coaches and attended informative administrative clinics.
Highlighted
was the participation in a 4 v 4 tournament. Playing was Chris
Friant, Danny Salmon, Johnny Kamara, and Drew Polly. The team went
1-1-1 just failing to advance after losing a shootout against a team made
up of former national champion players from UVA.
