Where:
All trials for the Williamsburg Soccer Club will be held at Queens Lake Middle School on Queens Drive in Williamsburg. Directions can be found at:

When:
WSC’s trials for players U10-U14 will be from May 30th to June 2nd and for players U15 through U18/19 trials will run from May
6th through May 20th. Click
for Trials Schedule. Each age group will have at least two trial sessions. Additional sessions for individual teams may be added for additional trial time or for weather reschedules.
Rain Dates for all teams will be 6/3, 6/4, 6/5, 6/6 or 6/7; times TBD.
Ages:
Players are to come to the age group and/or team for which you would be age appropriate (See Schedule below). Players may also come to the age group and/or team that you think you should be placed but players must attend trials for their own age group as a priority.
How:
Players MUST attend both trial dates in order to be considered for a team unless the WSC Director of Coaching is notified prior to the trials date.
Registration:
All players, including current WSC players, must register for trials at https://www.youthleaguesusa.com/williamsburg/2005/Tryout.html
Then please follow the instructions provided on the website. There is no cost to register or to attend trials.
Selection:
WSC Travel Teams are selected on a competitive basis. Positions on a team MUST be earned. Just because a player played on a team last year does NOT guarantee them a place for the 05/06 season. Trials are open to any player. All final decisions on team placement will be made by the Directors of Coaching of the Williamsburg Soccer Club in conjunction with individual team coaches.
Levels of Teams:
WSC will field for the 06/07 season three levels of teams for its boys teams and one level for its girls teams. Teams for the boys will be the WSC Wizards which will play in the VCCL; the WSC United which will play in the top level of
VSLI; and the WSC Dynamo which will also play in VSLI. For the girls teams WSC will field the WSC Phoenix which will play in the VCCL.
Policy:
Once selected for a team, playing time is not guaranteed. Coaches will decide on playing time based upon merit, attendance at training and event structure, team needs and the game situations. Accepting a position to a WSC team is a year round commitment based on the Club Event Structure established by the Directors of Coaching for the Williamsburg Soccer Club. Players now on a WSC team must be in good current financial status with the Club before being placed on a WSC team.
Notification:
Players will be notified on Sunday June 12th via e-mail whether they have or have not been selected for a team. Once notified, players will have 3 days to respond with their acceptance to their WSC team placement. Please make sure to provide current e-mail addresses when registering online and an e-mail address that is checked regularly.
