WSC Auction A Big Success

Over 150 people attend

Last Saturday February 11 the annual Williamsburg Soccer Club (WSC) Silent and Live Auction was held at the Williamsburg Community Center in downtown Williamsburg . The event drew over 150 people mainly comprised of WSC parents, coaches and friends of the WSC program. All proceeds will go towards the two U13 teams that will be traveling to England for the annual WSC UK Tour in April. The U13 ’92 Wizards and the U13 ‘2 Phoenix will travel to England for 10 days playing a series of games and learning about a new culture through a number of educational events. The auction featured over 100 silent auction items and 15 live items. Live auctioneer, Steve Mattheisen, did a great job as adults were bidding on such items as a week in the Outer Banks, a week of camp with Manchester United and a diamond necklace.
