Girls Virginia Olympic Development Program Players

Three girls selected to Virginia State Pools

It was announced today that three more players from the Williamsburg Soccer Club were selected to the Virginia Sate Pools in their respective age groups bringing the total to four. On the boys’ side of the program Michael Scruggs and Zach Harris had already been selected to pools. Abbie McInninch, Meredith Napoleon and Taylor Green were selected to the 1993 pools. Abbie plays for the U14 ’91 Williamsburg Phoenix coached by Richard Butler. Meredith and Taylor both play for the U12 ’92 Phoenix coached by Tom Finley. “This is the first time that any of these girls have made it into the state pool. It is representative of their continued desire to excel and the direction that our girls’ program is headed I hope that they can continue their individual success as they try to get to the regional level.
