WILLIAMSBURG SOCCER CLUB PLAYERS NAMED TO VIRGINIA CLUB CHAMPIONS LEAGUE
U14 SELECT TEAMS
One
boys’, one girls’ team will travel to Dallas, Texas in April
Each
year the Board of Directors of the Virginia Club Champions League (VCCL)
names a boys' and girls' U-14 select team from its member clubs. The
first Champions League Select U-14 boys' team was named to represent VCCL
in the 1998 Dallas Cup. 2005 marked the eighth year our boys'
league-select team has been accepted to the Dallas Cup. Also a Champions
League Select U-14 girls' team was first named to represent VCCL in the
2003 Spring Classic Girls Invitational Soccer Tournament held in
conjunction with the Dallas Cup. Our U-14 girls' league-select team
was accepted for the third year to participate in the 2005 Spring Classic.
On
the boys’ side of the Williamsburg Soccer Club program Connor
McGregor has been selected. Connor plays for the U14 ’91
Williamsburg Wizards who are coached by Lloyd Stephens. From the girls’
program three players have been chosen to participate. Elizabeth
Palmer, Jessica Napoleon and Erika Tarley all play for the U14 ’91
Williamsburg Phoenix coached by Director of Coaching, Richard Butler
