At
the end of this week and over the weekend our under 18 ’86 Williamsburg
Wizards team will be competing at the 2005 US Youth Soccer Region 1
Championships in Virginia Beach. The Wizards advanced to the Championships
by winning the under 18 Virginia State Cup Championship last November. The
team won 4-3 in sudden death overtime against the ’86 Reston FC team.
The
Wizards will play state champions from West Virginia, Massachusetts and
New York West in the preliminary group phase of the tournament with the
group winner advancing to the semi finals. All games will be played at the
Hampton Roads Soccer Complex in Virginia Beach. The schedule will be as
follows:

July 2 1:15pm Wizards vs. Massachusetts Premier Soccer, MA

Sunday July 3 9:45am Wizards vs. Rochester Junior
